This two-day course provides basic and intermediate training in the operation, maintenance and method development for Accelerated Solvent Extraction (ASE ® ). The course begins with brief classwork that includes: extraction theory, comparative techniques, and ASE applications. The course then proceeds to the lab for work with the ASE 100, ASE 150, ASE 200, ASE 300 or ASE 350 instruments. A majority of the course is spent in front of the ASE instruments running samples, developing methods, learning basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and service procedures. This course is designed for the beginner through the intermediate ASE users and operators.
