February 2007, Sunnyvale, CA—Dionex Corporation is pleased to announce the release of a microfraction collection option for its WPS-3000 Nano and Capillary LC autosampler series. This option supports fully automated off-line multidimensional liquid chromatography, providing customers with a unique tool for the most challenging applications, including proteomics research.
The microfraction collector option simplifies multidimensional separations by allowing columns that differ in chemistry and internal diameter to be combined on a single LC system with dual gradient flow delivery and a proprietary flow path design. This new option enables full automation of injection, fractionation, and reinjection. The three well plate capacity allows automated collection and reinjection of more than 1000 samples, without manual handling of the well plates. This option marks a new breakthrough in flexibility on one of the most versatile HPLC platforms currently available: UltiMate™ 3000 Intelligent LC systems.
