| Pre-Meeting Workshops |
| |
These workshops will be offered on Wednesday, October 8 and Thursday, October 9. Cost to attend is $150.00 per workshop. |
| |
| HPLC Workshop 1: Transferring Analytical Methods to Fast LC |
| |
Running your methods faster is an obvious way to increase laboratory productivity, and this workshop will show to how to do it in a few easy steps. In this workshop you will: - Run a conventional LC method
- Speed up this method with the Dionex Speed-Up Calculator
- Optimize the method so that it runs even faster while maintaining resolution
These skills will help you accelerate any existing analytical method quickly and efficiently, and obtain all the productivity gains you get from faster chromatography. |
| |
| HPLC Workshop 2: Validating Your Analytical Methods |
| |
One barrier to speeding up or otherwise changing existing analytical methods is the time it takes to revalidate them. This workshop will give you the chance to work with the new Chromeleon validation tools and let you: - Run a linearity experiment for a Fast LC method
- Run an accuracy experiment for a Fast LC method
- Quickly evaluate the results
- Create a validation report in less than 5 minutes
These skills will help you quickly validate analytical methods and show you how you can use Chromeleon to create your final validation report in less than 5 minutes |
| |
| HPLC Workshop 3: Automated Instrument Qualification |
| |
Instrument qualification can be a time consuming process which can often take several days to finalize. In this workshop you will learn how to use the Chromeleon AutoQ tool to: - Automatically perform OQ and PQ for any instrument
- Automatically generate OQ and PQ reports
- Define an instrument qualification schedule and set warnings and limits directly in Chromeleon
These skills will let you fully automate your OQ/PQ runs, allowing you to focus on other work while your instrument is running. |
| |
| HPLC Workshop 4: Increasing Sample Throughput via Tandem or Parallel Mode |
| |
Increasing (or further increasing) analysis speed may not always be an option. In this case, you need alternative tools to increase sample throughput. The combination of Chromeleon together with the UltiMate 3000 system now provides simple and automated tandem or parallel mode operation for throughput increases as much as double, without requiring changes to current separation methods. In this workshop you will learn: - The theory and operation of tandem and parallel mode
- How to determine which mode to use and the practical considerations
- How to use Chromeleon to set up and run both modes
