| UltiMate 3000 Wins IBO’s Gold Award |
| | | | | At Pittcon 2006, the UltiMate 3000 won the Gold Award from Instrument Business Outlook magazine. In announcing the award, IBO said the UltiMate 3000 features significant product innovations, improved performance, and a modular, flexible design, making LC easier to use, faster, and more reliable. Each year, IBO picks three products introduced at Pittcon that are particularly notable in four ways: technical achievement; innovative features and design; clever packaging; and strong commercial potential. The first place award for the UltiMate 3000 was announced in IBO’s March 15, 2006 issue, p 6 with the following description of the series: “Dionex’s UltiMate 3000 LC series includes seven standard systems and five dual-gradient systems and several new modules. The new system features a new on-line vacuum degasser, the AutoQ qualification suite and the UltiFlow active flow splitting for LC/MS. It replaces the company’s Summit HPLC. The x2 Dual-Gradient system features a dual-gradient pump and column switching for parallel or tandem LC. The system can perform 2-D or multidimensional LC as well as on-line SPE-LC. The UltiMate 3000 Micro HPLC system features five micro pump systems.” |
