| | Printer Friendly | 2D-LC with UltiMate 3000 Systems | | In two dimensional liquid chromatography (2D-LC), samples are run on one column and the peaks generated are then separated on a second column. Peaks generated on the first column typically represent a group of similar molecules. The second column is then used to separate each molecule in this group. Traditionally, 2D-LC was performed using two separate systems, but the unique x2 dual technology provided by the UltiMate® 3000 LC series allows all work to be performed in a single system, saving laboratories money and bench space while increasing productivity and performance.
Enables combination of two orthogonal chromatographic techniques, for example, IEX and RP-LC Results in high peak capacities Allows the separation of complex samples Allows the combination of selective affinity chromatography techniques with RP-LC Intelligent LC solutions provided by Chromeleon® allow for easy visualization of the system along with real-time monitoring and control
