ASE 100, 200, and 300 Accelerated Solvent Extraction Systems Tired of spending days on sample preparation? Extractions that normally take hours can be done in minutes using ASE. Compared to techniques like Soxhlet and sonication, ASE generates results in a fraction of the time. In addition to speed, ASE offers a lower cost per sample than other techniques, reducing solvent consumption by up to 90%. If your extractions take more than 15 min, it’s time to accelerate with ASE. - Extraction in minutes
- Dramatic solvent reduction
- Wide range of applications
- Approved for use by the U.S. EPA and CLP Program
ASE is a patented technique for the extraction of solid and semisolid sample matrices using common solvents at elevated temperatures and pressures. ASE is dramatically faster than Soxhlet, sonication, and other extraction methods, and uses significantly less quantities of solvent and labor. ASE technology is available in both entry-level systems such as the ASE 100, and fully automated versions such as the ASE 200 and 300. With the ASE 200, up to 24 samples with volumes up to 33 mL each can be loaded and automatically extracted according to user-programmed methods stored in memory. The ASE 300 provides automated extraction of up to 12 samples, with volumes up to 100 mL to achieve improved analyte detection limits. AutoASE® is an add-on software feature that allows control of multiple ASE systems from one location. An automated solvent controller is also available for automated mixing and delivery of up to four solvents.
