Anions

The analysis of common anions in environmental water samples is among the most frequently-used applications of Dionex ion chromatographs in the past 25 years. The environmental testing industry makes broad use of ion exchange separation of fluoride, chloride, nitrate, sulfate, bromide, nitrate and phosphate by suppressed conductivity using EPA, ASTM and ISO methods. Of these methods, EPA Method 300.0 (Part A) and 300.1 (Part A) are among the most-referenced IC methods.

AS22 Column

The IonPac® AS22 is a very high-capacity anion-exchange column and is the recommended carbonate-based column for the fast, isocratic separation of inorganic anions, including flouride, chloride, nitrite, bromide, nitrate, phosphate, and sulfate, using a carbonate/bicarbonate eluent.

The IonPac®AS18 is the recommended hydroxide-selective column for inorganic anions in diverse sample matrices.
