Metals

Metals, amalgams and alloys play an instumental role in almost every facet of our lives. Yet when used or disposed of incorrectly, metals can become serious contaminants, especially in soil and water. Metals may be released into the environment from a number of sources such as buildings, traffic, tap-water systems, and various industrial processes. Dionex has developed columns that can accurately assay groups of metals at very low levels in a variety of matrices, as well as speciate certain elements such as Fe2+ and Fe3+.

Metal-Free Trap Columns

The IonPac® MFC-1 column is ued to remove transition metals from high-pH eluents.

T-Metal Concentrators

MFC-1 Column

The IonPac® MFC-1 metal-free column strips trace transition metal contaminants from high-pH eluents.

TMC-1 Column

The IonPac® TMC-1 Trace Metal Concentrator is a high-capacity cation concentration column used for coupling the MetPacTM CC-1 to the IonPac CS5 and CS5A analytical columns when performing chelation IC.
