Analysis of POE(1) Lauryl Sulfate (LC-ESI-MS)

Polyoxyethylene Lauryl Sulfate (laureth) is a popular surfactant in personal care products. Typically it contains a mixture of C12 and C14 lipid chains with a variable-length polyoxyethylene chain. The recommended mobile phase for separation on the Acclaim Surfactant column is one that is volatile and compatible with electrospray ionization for mass spectrometry, such as acetonitrile.
