Brodifacoum is a powerful second-generation anticoagulant related to warfarin and used as a rodenticide. It is synthesized as a mixture of two diastereomers. Commercial rodent bait formulations typically have about 0.005% active ingredient. The high resolution of the Acclaim^® 120 C18 column permits the clean separation of the two isomers from the complex sample background.
