Reversed-phase chromatography is used for the analysis of small neutral molecules and polar molecules and is the most commonly used chromatographic mode in HPLC. Dionex offers the Acclaim^®  line of bonded silica columns for this standard approach. For applications requiring more extreme mobile phase conditions, we also offer a polymeric reversed-phase column that is stable over the entire pH range and is ideally suited to ion-pairing and ion-suppression techniques.

Dionex offers columns optimized for specific applications: organic acid analysis, surfactant separations, and explosives residue analysis (EPA Method 8330) columns. The Acclaim Mixed-Mode Column are uniquely designed with multiple modes on a single support. The Acclaim Mixed-Mode WAX-1 has both the reversed-phase and anion exchange capability. The Acclaim Mixed-Mode HILIC-1 has both reversed-phase and HILIC capability.
