Acclaim PepMap and TiO2 Nano Precolumns

  • Fast sample preconcentration (large volume injections)
  • Fast sample clean-up (e.g., desalting of proteins/peptides, detergent removal, etc.)
  • Column switching in 2-D, 3-D, etc.)

Nano precolumns are short columns (1 cm or 2 cm), with an inner diameter of 100 or 200 µm. They are used for preconcentration (focusing) of diluted samples, or in various column-switching techniques. Solutes can be effectively concentrated in the trap column by selecting the proper packing material and altering the property of the sample solvent and mobile phase. Precolumns are also used for fast sample concentration in combination with large volume injections.

The column design allows for easy and dead volume-free installation in any micro HPLC system.
