| Acclaim® Mixed-Mode HILIC-1 columns are packed with a new silica-based stationary phase that incorporates both reversed-phase (RP) and hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) properties. The column features hydrophobic alkyl chain and hydrophilic diol functionalities. The combined functionality of the new Acclaim Mixed-Mode HILIC-1 columns gives the chromatographer vastly more separation power then either reversed-phase or HILIC supports alone. This new Acclaim Mixed-Mode HILIC is designed to separate highly polar compounds and nonpolar molecules. It can be used in either reversed-phase mode or normal phase mode. The Acclaim Mixed-Mode HILIC-1 column features: - Operation in both RP and HILIC modes
- Retention of highly polar molecules unretained by RP columns
- Unique selectivity complementary to RP columns
- Superior performance compared to conventional diol-based columns
The Acclaim Mixed-Mode HILIC-1 is suitable for a broad range of applications, including drug metabolites, lipids, polyethylene glycols (PEGs), ethoxylated surfactants and more.
