UltiMate 3000 LCi Solution for Automated Method Scouting |

The UltiMate 3000 Solution for Automated Method Scouting provides a convenient means to determine optimum method parameters such as pH, temperature, and solvent concentration. The Thermostatted Column Compartment contains two integrated 6-position, 7-port valves for column selection; up to six columns can be scouted automatically. A Diode Array Detector is used for peak tracking.

Chromeleon software provides easy parameter permutation, without the need for method changes. The data mining tools, such as automated SST and query functions, eliminate the need for manual data assessment and help to quickly identify the optimum parameter set. Smart reports visualize results instantaneously. For example, see the run time and resolution map in the figure below. The shorter the elution time of the last peak, the lower the bubble will appear on the Y axis. The diameter of the bubble corresponds to the resolution. The larger the bubble, the higher the resolution.
Based on this information, samples 4 and 27 show the best parameters for this method.
