Refractive Index Detector

Need to detect analytes with limited or no UV absorption? Does your HPLC method require detection of alcohols, sugars, saccarides, fatty acids, or polymers? Then the RI-101 refractive index detector is the perfect choice. High sensitivity is assured, reducing the noise level to less than 2.5 nRIU. For fast results, an optimized temperature control system ensures fast baseline stabilization after system start-up.
Ease of use is obtained through a start-up sequence that automates purging, equilibration, autozero, and the control of baseline stability and noise. In addition, a full-color, liquid-crystal display provides fast access to instrument settings and performance parameters, and shows an on-line signal.

•  Get Your Results Fast
•  Easy Setup and Usage
•  Save Time Through Automated Validation
Get Your Results Fast

The innovative and very sophisticated temperature control makes the RI-101 ready to use in less than 40 min after start-up. The built-in start-up sequence automates otherwise cumbersome and time-consuming processes such as purging and control of baseline stability and noise.

Easy Setup and Usage

A full-color liquid-crystal display shows an on-line signal and provides fast access to instrument settings and performance parameters. Operation with Chromeleon® software makes the detector easy to use and ensures maximum productivity in instrument control, data processing, and reporting of results.

Save Time Through Automated Validation

Automated validation functions save time and make validation of the instrument an easy task. The detector provides information on noise, drift, lamp age, lamp voltage, and temperature. A “Span” function verifies accurate signal response for a defined standard solution. Powerful and easy to use, AutoQTM  validation routines allow for automated Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) tests.
